SENIOR CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Position Description

The Control Systems Engineer will provide control systems architecture/engineering design services to current and new clients in the chemical & petrochemical, food & beverage, general manufacturing and water & waste water treatment industries.

Requirements: Candidates must possess most of the following skills:

Control Systems Architecture/Engineering Design
Control Panel Design
I/O Listing Development
PLC/HMI Programming
Electrical Scope of Work Development
Bill of Materials (BOM) Document Creation
MS Office Product Experience (Word & Excel a MUST)
Basic Networking Skills
PLC/Controls Device Field Troubleshooting
System Commissioning and Startup Experience
Ability to work with an industrial setting

The following skills are desired and definitely a PLUS:

Allen-Bradley PLC Programming (especially ControlLogix)
Modicon PLC Programming
GE iFix/Wonderware/Factory Talk View SE/ME Development
Food and Beverage Industry Experience
Water/ Wastewater Industry Experience
AutoCAD Electrical

Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills

Proficiency MS office tools, Excel executable macro programming is a plus
Self-Starter with ability to work independently as required
Excellent written and verbal skills
Project management experience is a plus

Education and Experience Requirements

BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering and 3-5 years of work experience in the Automation/Controls Engineering field.
Minimum GPA 3.0.

Work Orientation Factors

Some start-up and service work will require some travel, but rarely outside of a 3 hour radius
